We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and is passionate about creating a safe, loving, and encouraging classroom environment.
Position:
Part-Time Assistant Teacher - Two-Year-Olds The Assistant Teacher will work alongside the Lead Teacher to provide a positive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate experience for our two-year-old students. Responsibilities Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and routines Provide loving, attentive care and supervision to children Help create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment Assist with diapering/toileting, handwashing, meals, and nap routines Support children as they develop social, emotional, language, and self-help skills Participate in age-appropriate learning activities, crafts, music, stories, and play Encourage positive behavior and help children learn classroom expectations Communicate respectfully and professionally with teachers, children, and families Follow all preschool health, safety, and supervision policies Maintain a positive and Christ-centered attitude throughout the school day Qualifications Previous experience working with young children preferred Must be patient, dependable, energetic, and nurturing Enjoys working as part of a team Able to maintain a calm and positive attitude in a busy classroom DCF 45-hour training preferred or willingness to complete required training CPR and First Aid certification preferred Must be willing to commit to the school year A heart for children and a desire to support their growth and development Schedule Part-Time | Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30-1 We follow the Duval County School Calendar .
