Early Childhood Toddler Teacher Academy For The ONE Lakeland, FL Job Details Full-time $15 - $17 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications CPR Certification High school diploma or GED First Aid Certification Working with students Classroom experience Teaching Full Job Description Toddler Teacher - Academy For The ONE We are seeking a compassionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join Academy For The ONE. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, a love for working with young children, and a commitment to modeling Christian values in daily interactions. This role involves creating a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment where toddlers can grow socially, emotionally, spiritually, and academically. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans that support toddlers' cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual development. Integrate Christian values and faith-based principles into daily lessons, interactions, and classroom activities. Provide individualized attention and encouragement to support each child's unique developmental needs and learning style. Foster a nurturing, loving, and safe environment where children feel secure and valued. Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance and age-appropriate redirection techniques. Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being during classroom activities, meals, playtime, and outdoor activities. Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily experiences. Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to create a positive educational experience for students and families. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to remain current with early childhood education best practices Candidate must be: At least 18 years of age. A high school graduate or equivalent. Cleared of any criminal record. DCF certified by completing the required 45 hours of DCF training or be willing to complete it within the first year. CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen certified or obtain upon hire. Mentally and physically capable of caring for a group of children, including lifting a child if needed. Punctual, dependable, consistent, and a commitment to adhere to our standards of excellence.
