We offer a family work environment with low ratios and ample support staff. Qualifications 2-5 years experience as a One Year Old Teacher preferred Active staff credential and DCF 45 hours, with Formal Education Completes other required training; CPR/First Aid, CEU, inservice, Teaching Strategies, etc. Must be flexible, organized, and have good written and verbal communication skills Must be professional and goal oriented Demonstrates and models a personal Christian Faith Responsibilities Responsible for classroom operation Verifies attendance as children arrive and depart, or delegates to Assistant Ensures that lesson plans are current, posted, complete and followed Ensures that developmental assessments are completed as required Parent Communication Written and verbal Procare entries Two conferences per year Maintains classroom environment Room arrangement, wall display, cleaning schedule, rotation of materials, labels, etc. . Mentor Assistant Teachers on DAP and behavior management Assist with orientation to new teachers Notify Team Lead with need for supplies Works consistently with the Director and Team Lead in upholding an atmosphere of professionalism, quality, teamwork and unity with all PCH staff Be flexible with schedule to help cover classroom when necessary Is willing to take on extra responsibilities or duties as requested Must be eligible to complete a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) Clearinghouse.
