Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. Your responsibilities will include planning engaging activities, ensuring the well-being of each child, and collaborating with parents to support their child's growth. Call Chad for interview (813) 391-1862 Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves. Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional development. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents that occur throughout the day. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children in the daycare. Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing professional development. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences: Background in early childhood education or related fields such as childhood development or caregiving. Experience working with children in various settings (e.g., daycare, babysitting, nannying). Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred to ensure the safety of all children in care. Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities, including those with disabilities. Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude combined with patience and creativity to engage young learners effectively.
