Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and VPK requirements Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among preschool children Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining a structured learning environment Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote good conduct and emotional regulation among students Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and other essential skills into daily lessons Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and developmental progress Skills Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including toddler care and special education needs Skilled in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies Familiarity with early intervention techniques and standardized testing methods for young learners Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and developmental levels Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood welfare or physical education are advantageous Experience working within private schools or daycare environments is preferred Join us as a Preschool Teacher - VPK to help shape the future by inspiring young minds!
