In this role, you'll create a warm, engaging classroom where young children learn through play-based, developmentally appropriate activities. You will design daily lessons, support social-emotional growth, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment. Teachers build strong partnerships with families through clear, consistent communication and progress updates. Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based lessons and activities Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment Observe and document children's developmental progress Communicate regularly with families about child growth and daily updates Collaborate with center staff to support program goals and standards Follow licensing, health, and safety regulations and center policies Support children's social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development Required Skills Lesson planning for early childhood Classroom management Child development assessment and observation Parent and family communication Early childhood curriculum implementation Health, safety, and sanitation practices Behavior guidance and social-emotional support Recordkeeping and documentation Collaboration with teaching teams Basic technology for learning and communication
