Job Description

Job description: We are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Fun Time Early Childhood Academy.
Main Responsibilities Include:
Assist with developing and implementing indoor and outdoor learning environments that are child-oriented and that support children's growth in all areas of development. Interacts with children at their level throughout daily activities and helps to supervise and facilitate children's involvement in the classroom and on the playground. Assures classrooms and related areas are clean, safe, healthy and developmentally appropriate for all children. Prepares lesson plans that are age appropriate and engaging Completes individual child assessments and communicate children's progress and their needs to parents through individual parent conferences. Prepares timely, accurate objective and complete reports as required including accident/incident reports and child documentation.

Energetic, outgoing, professional, detailed and able to maintain confidentiality at all times Experience in the early childhood education field Nurturing personality and good judgment Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and on-going developmental assessments using Teaching Strategies Gold is a plus Qualifications and Skills Minimum requirements for all teachers: High school diploma or GED 45 hours of mandated training CDA and/or Degree in education-related field preferred Ability to lift and tend to children 1-5 years, stoop and bend to child's level, and squat to floor level Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal
