Job Overview About Us:
At Bay Point Church Preschool, we are more than a school—we are a community where faith and learning grow hand in hand. Our teachers shepherd little hearts, guiding children in both knowledge and the love of Jesus. We are seeking a passionate, joyful, and Christ-centered Preschool Teacher to join our team.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Toddler Teacher to lead our one-year old students... a teacher who nurtures each child's growth in a loving, safe, and engaging Christian environment. This role combines professional teaching skills with ministry, creating a classroom where children thrive and experience God's love daily.
Essential Duties:
  • Develop positive, loving relationships with students and parents.
  • Create indoor and outdoor learning environments that inspire exploration, discovery, and reflection of God's creation.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.
  • Establish a daily routine incorporating creative expression, health, and joyful faith development.
  • Support social and emotional development through positive guidance, modeling Christian values of kindness, patience, and respect.
  • Assess children's learning needs through observation and screening and develop individualized plans to support growth.
  • Communicate effectively with parents through conferences, ProCare notes, and other channels to support each child's well-being and growth.
  • Uphold all safety, health, and licensing standards, ensuring compliance with state regulations and church policies.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and models integrity, patience, kindness, and compassion.
  • The Florida Childcare 45-hour Training Requirement
  • Knowledgeable in child development, classroom management, and early literacy/numeracy.
  • Experience creating engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans
  • Strong relational skills: builds trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Joyful, creative, dependable, patient, and organized.
Employment Requirements:
  • Models Christ-like behavior.
  • Successful completion of criminal records and fingerprint background check.
  • Understanding and agreement to Bay Point Church Preschool policies.

The pay rage for this position is $17-$20 per hour, commensurate with experience and credentials.
