Desired Skills and Experience:
18 years of age High School Diploma or equivalent Per Florida requirements (unless exempted); pass competency exam following 45 hours of training AND one of either Infant & Toddler Appropriate Practices OR Preschool Appropriate Practices Experience in a Childcare Center preferred State Background Check Child Development Associate Certification or willingness to obtain a plus CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain •Bus Drivers must have valid license, experience preferred. School Cooks must have at least 1 year of experience in a restaurant or school kitchen setting. Food Handler's Certification preferred. Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Ability to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children. Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English. All center staff applicants must meet state specific guidelines for the role.
