Qualifications:

CDA (Child Development Associate Credential) or equivalent certification (NOT

OPTIONAL

) Or Higher education in Early Childhood Education or a related field Completion of DCF 45-hour training & Required School Readiness Hours (NOT

OPTIONAL

) Prior experience working in a preschool or childcare setting with toddlers Strong understanding of child development milestones for age 2 CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Ability to pass a Level II background screening

What You'll Do:

Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that align with our vision and school curriculum. Foster a classroom environment focused on learning through structured play, sensory exploration, language development, and social-emotional growth. Communicate effectively with parents and team members about children's progress and classroom activities Promote a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment Maintain daily routines, manage classroom transitions, and support children with positive guidance techniques.
