Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Child Care Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising children, planning age-appropriate activities, and fostering their social, emotional, and developmental growth. Your dedication will ensure children feel secure and inspired while supporting their individual needs and developmental milestones. Duties Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and structured activities to ensure safety at all times Plan and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood development, including arts, crafts, games, and educational exercises Provide specialized care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children with attention to their unique needs Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child safety or well-being Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions and social skills among children Skills Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Strong activity planning skills tailored to different developmental stages and interests of children Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is preferred Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Ability to manage behavior constructively while fostering a nurturing environment Classroom or daycare experience demonstrating reliable child supervision and activity facilitation Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Experience in babysitting or nannying roles that involved caring for infants through young children is advantageous Join us in making a meaningful difference in children's lives by providing compassionate care that promotes growth, learning, and happiness.
