Position Summary The Infant Teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing a high-quality early childhood classroom that reflects our faith-based mission. The Lead Teacher provides spiritual guidance, educational leadership, and daily care while ensuring compliance with all licensing and program standards. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, faith-based curriculum and daily lesson plans Integrate biblical teachings, prayer, worship songs, and Christian values into classroom activities Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress Communicate regularly and professionally with parents/guardians Guide children's behavior using positive, age-appropriate techniques Ensure classroom compliance with state licensing regulations and school policies Maintain accurate attendance, lesson plans, and required documentation Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development Assist with classroom setup, cleanliness, and organization Qualifications A personal commitment to the Christian faith and the mission of the program At least 1 year of experience working with preschool-aged children Previous leadership or classroom management experience preferred Knowledge of child development and early learning standards CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass background checks and meet all state licensing requirements Desired Qualities Strong leadership and organizational skills Warm, patient, and nurturing teaching style Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, flexible, and professional Positive role model with strong moral character Physical Requirements Ability to lift to 26-28 pounds Ability to actively engage with children at floor level, indoors, and outdoors Compensation & Benefits Childcare discount How to Apply Please submit your resume to: nadirector614@gmail.com or stop by in person to fill out an application.
