Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Preschool Floater Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide flexible classroom support across multiple preschool classrooms, ensuring a nurturing environment that promotes early childhood development. Your enthusiasm and versatility will help maintain a high-quality educational experience for every child, while supporting teachers and engaging with families to foster a positive community atmosphere. Duties Assist lead teachers with classroom activities, lesson planning, and curriculum implementation to support diverse learning needs. Provide direct care and supervision for children during various activities, including playtime, meals, and rest periods. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies. Collaborate with teachers to develop age-appropriate literacy education, math activities, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, daily activities, and any concerns in accordance with mandated reporting laws. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures. Adapt quickly to different classrooms' needs, ensuring continuity of care and educational quality across all groups. Qualifications Experience working with children in early childhood settings or daycare environments is preferred. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention strategies is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in childhood education or behavior management are advantageous.
