We are a vibrant, full-day program serving children from 3 months through Pre-K, and we are looking for warm, dependable people who love being around little ones and can jump in when a classroom needs an extra set of hands. Whether you are a college student looking for flexible hours, someone who simply loves working with kids, or a person who wants to work a few meaningful hours with a great team and amazing kiddos, this could be a great fit.

About the role:

This is an on-call, at-will position. When a teacher is out, we reach out to our substitute team with at least 2 hours of notice. You choose whether the shift works for you, and you can be called on repeatedly once you are part of our team.

Pay:

$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

On-call, as needed, Monday through Friday Shift times fall between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, depending on the assigned classroom and position Notice for shifts is at least 2 hours ahead What you'll do: Step into an Infant, Toddler, Preschool, or Pre-K classroom and support the lead teacher and students Follow the classroom's daily schedule and routines Keep children safe, engaged, and cared for, with lots of play and connection along the way Communicate clearly with our Director and Assistant Director What we're looking for: Experience working with children in an early childhood setting (preferred) A patient, positive, flexible attitude Reliability and quick communication when we reach out about a shift Comfort with different age groups and classrooms Ability to pass a DECAL background check and complete required licensing paperwork before your first shift Already DECAL cleared?
