Responsibilities Deliver engaging and interactive Spanish lessons tailored to elementary school students' developmental levels and learning styles Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum plans aligned with educational standards and language proficiency goals Adapt instructional methods and materials to accommodate students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive, respectful learning environment Use learning technology tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress and facilitate communication with students and parents Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, curriculum development, and sharing best practices in language instruction Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, progress, and areas for improvement Analyze student performance data to inform instructional modifications and support individual growth Incorporate literacy education, math integration, music activities, and other interdisciplinary approaches into lessons when appropriate Ensure compliance with educational regulations and maintain accurate records of student attendance and achievement Skills Proven experience in classroom teaching of elementary school students, preferably in private or independent schools Strong knowledge of Spanish language instruction, including curriculum development and implementation Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technology platforms Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs; ability to adapt lessons accordingly Excellent classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment Ability to differentiate instruction based on students' diverse cultural backgrounds and learning styles Effective communication skills for engaging students, parents, and colleagues collaboratively Knowledge of childhood development principles relevant to early language acquisition Skills in behavior management, instructional modifications, and standardized testing preparation Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds enhances inclusivity in the classroom Join us as a Part-Time Spanish Teacher where your dedication can ignite a love for languages while shaping young minds!
