Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and child development instruction tailored to preschool-aged children. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Conduct assessments of children's developmental progress using standardized testing methods and document milestones to inform instruction. Engage in active communication with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss behavioral strategies, and collaborate on individual child needs. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including toddler care activities, lesson planning, and transitions to ensure a smooth daily schedule. Apply knowledge of special education principles and early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold schools standards at all times. Experience Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Prior experience teaching physical education or literacy education to young children is highly desirable. Familiarity with childhood development theories, standardized testing procedures, and early intervention practices. Strong communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Certification in first aid and CPR must be obtained; additional credentials in special education or childhood development are advantageous.
