Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical activity, and social skills. Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction that supports each child's developmental milestones. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques. Communicate regularly with parents to share updates on children's progress, behaviors, and classroom activities. Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, maintaining a clean environment, and practicing first aid and CPR when necessary. Facilitate early intervention strategies for children with special needs or developmental delays. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly. Requirements Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
