Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will support children's developmental needs through attentive supervision, educational activities, and compassionate caregiving. Your energy and enthusiasm will help foster a positive atmosphere where children feel secure, valued, and inspired to explore and learn. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives while working within a collaborative team committed to early childhood education and well-being. Employees working 32 or more hours can qualify for CCA through the state. Employees have the opportunity to work with CCR&R for continuing education. Duties Supervise children during play, meals, naps, and structured activities to ensure safety at all times Implement age-appropriate child development instruction and classroom management strategies Engage children with educational activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and needs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in accordance with HHS Apply first aid and CPR techniques promptly in case of minor injuries or emergencies Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being Support children with special needs or disabilities through tailored caregiving approaches and inclusive practices Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and compassionate guidance Collaborate with team members to plan daily schedules that balance play, learning, rest, and nutrition Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or as a nanny or babysitter is highly preferred Demonstrated classroom experience managing young children's activities and developmental milestones Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and child safety protocols is desirable Familiarity with daycare licensing requirements and mandated reporting laws Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members to support children's growth Join us in providing exceptional care that nurtures young minds! Pay:
$10.00 - $11.25 per hour
