Full Job Description Duties:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for a classroom of students.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care.
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging and interactive lessons.
• Use effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the overall success of the program.
• Maintain open communication with parents and provide regular updates on their child's progress.
• Assess student performance and provide feedback to parents and administrators.
• Implement early intervention strategies for students who may require additional support.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children.
• Training or certification in early intervention strategies.
• Familiarity with state licensing requirements for childcare centers.
• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices.
• Proficiency in creating and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and promote positive behavior.
• Knowledge of early literacy education, math concepts, and other subject areas.
• Familiarity with child welfare regulations and guidelines.
