Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at ou non-profit child development center open from 7:00am-5:30pm. We are a child-led, play-based program that serves children 6 weeks up until the age of 8. We provide early care and education and before and after school care. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns related to child welfare. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the learning experience through shared resources and strategies. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Experience in classroom management within daycare or preschool settings. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of behavior management techniques tailored for young children. A commitment to fostering a supportive environment that prioritizes child welfare.
