We are seeking a dependable Childcare Educator for a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Waukee, IA , working Monday-Friday on the day shift . This role involves supervising children, ensuring their safety and well-being, leading age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, supporting their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, and assisting with daily routines in a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom. Some experience is preferred. Responsibilities Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being . Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities . Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development . Assist with meals, snacks, nap times, and daily routines. Communicate with children, parents, and coworkers while providing positive guidance. Requirements Some childcare or child education experience preferred. Ability to provide positive guidance and encourage appropriate behavior. Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team. Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom . Ability to follow health, safety, and childcare regulations . Must be able to pass a background check .
