Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Assistant Floater to join our dynamic childcare team, supporting children ages 6 weeks through 12 years. This vital role offers the opportunity to work across various classrooms and age groups, providing flexible assistance to ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for every child. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood development, possess excellent communication skills, and be eager to contribute to a positive learning atmosphere. Duties Provide consistent supervision and care for children across multiple age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children Assist lead teachers with classroom activities, lesson implementation, and behavior management strategies Support children's developmental needs through engaging play, educational activities, and social interactions Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR when necessary Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily updates, concerns, or questions about their child's progress or needs Assist with diapering, feeding, nap routines, and other daily caregiving tasks for infants and toddlers Support classroom management by promoting positive behavior and ensuring children follow routines Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) is required; pediatric first aid training is preferred Familiarity with special education needs and working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to follow mandated reporting laws and safety procedures diligently Experience with classroom management techniques and behavior guidance strategies Passion for nurturing young children's growth and development in a caring environment Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of children! Pay:
