About us River Academy childcare facility is located in the Boise/Eagle area and was built in 2018 in response to the need in our community for high quality Early Childhood Education. We are an early childhood program that provides an environment that is safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate. Our classrooms are purposely planned to encourage curiosity and exploration, build problem-solving skills, foster individual decision-making, and grow independence and self-sufficiency skills. Responsibilities:

Engage with children and get down on their level. Help with the delivery and planning of curriculum founded on the center's philosophies. Help with creating a positive learning environment. Develop strategies to guide positive children's behavior. Build good, open communication with children, families and co-workers. Help with observing and recording children's growth and development. Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe.

Qualifications:

Boise childcare license and CPR/first aid certification is a plus (Will work with you upon hire to acquire these documents) Fantastic organizational and teamwork skills. Sound written and verbal communication skills. Energy (or enough caffeine) to match a 3 year old who wants to play tag! Experience in childcare Willing to learn and grow as a teacher.
