Responsibilities Supervise children in a safe, caring environment, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Follow established curriculum guidelines and adapt activities to meet individual needs Maintain clear communication with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns Ensure proper child supervision during playtime, meals, naps, and transitions throughout the day Uphold health and safety standards by practicing first aid and CPR when necessary, adhering to mandated reporting laws Assist with classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and fostering an inclusive atmosphere Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood development principles and child supervision best practices Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hiring Ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children in a professional manner Understanding of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Flexibility to work various shifts as needed in a fast-paced daycare environment This position is ideal for passionate individuals eager to support young children's growth while developing their teaching skills.
