Duties Assist with supervising children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support classroom management by organizing activities that promote childhood development and social skills Implement age-appropriate educational programs focusing on child development instruction and early learning milestones Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety standards Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Support staff in administering first aid or pediatric first aid when necessary, following mandated reporting laws and safety protocols Help facilitate positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and respectful interactions among children Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required or obtainable upon hire Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and adhere to mandated reporting laws Passion for caregiving, nurturing young minds, and fostering a supportive learning environment This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in early childhood education while making a positive difference every day.
