Daycare Teacher Jabbers Kids Daycare -
Nampa, ID Hours:
Full time 9am-5pm Mon-Fri Jabbers Kids is hiring a dependable and caring Daycare Teacher to work with children ages 18 month-5 in a play-based classroom and on Jabber indoor play place main floor. This position is responsible for supervising children, implementing daily activities, maintaining a safe and organized environment, and communicating with families. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, crafts, games, and learning experiences. Routinely change diapers, assist children with potty training and toileting needs, and maintain proper hygiene and sanitation practices in accordance with licensing standards. Foster children's social, emotional, and developmental growth through positive interactions. Assist children with daily routines, including toileting, handwashing, meals, and rest time. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom. Observe and document children's progress, behavior, and daily activities. Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child's day. Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and company policies. Work collaboratively with other teachers and assist where needed. Complete opening, closing, and classroom cleaning duties as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of childcare experience preferred. Must be reliable, patient, and able to work independently. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage a classroom while maintaining a positive and engaging environment. Must be able to pass a background check. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred. Preferred Qualities Experience with play-based learning. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to adapt to changing classroom needs and work well as part of a team.
