KinderCare is seeking compassionate Lead Teachers for our Buffalo Grove learning center. In this role, you will design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that nurture children's social, emotional, and academic growth. You will maintain a safe, inclusive classroom, observe and document child progress, and build strong, trusting relationships with families. As a key member of a collaborative team, you will mentor assistant teachers, uphold licensing and safety standards, and participate in ongoing professional development within KinderCare's supportive culture. Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate daily lessons and activities aligned with Kinder Care curriculum. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that supports each child's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Observe, document, and assess children's progress and adjust learning experiences accordingly. Communicate regularly with families, sharing updates on children's development and center activities. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and state licensing standards at all times. Mentor and guide assistant teachers, modeling best practices in classroom management and instruction. Collaborate with center leadership and colleagues to improve programs and participate in professional development.
