Overview :

CBHC is seeking dependable, caring, and patient Volunteer Childcare Workers to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children while teen mothers participate in Parenting for Success group sessions. The Volunteer Childcare Worker will supervise children ranging from infants to 13 years old and ensure that children are appropriately cared for throughout each group session

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide attentive and appropriate supervision of children from infancy through 13 years of age. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming childcare environment. Engage children in appropriate activities based on their age and developmental needs. Monitor children and respond appropriately to their individual needs. Follow all Parenting for Success safety, confidentiality, and childcare procedures. Communicate any concerns or incidents involving Parenting for Success staff. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with children and families. Assist with maintaining the childcare area before and after each group session.

Qualifications:

Dependable, responsible patient and nurturing. Ability to supervise multiple children while maintaining a safe environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact appropriately and respectfully with children and families. Must successfully complete any required background screening and program requirements.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of one (1) year of childcare or daycare experience required
• Experience caring for or working with children of various ages preferred Reports to: Program Manager Parenting for

Success Hours:

5:00pm - 8:00pm

Schedule:

Evening shift Wednesdays and Thursdays Volunteer childcare works will receive a $15 experience allowance for each Parenting for Success group session attended.

Expected hours:

8.0 - 16.0 per week
