Overview :

The Parenting for Success Department is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Volunteer Van Driver to provide transportation support to parents and children participating in group sessions, meetings, and group outings. The Volunteer Van Driver will ensure participants are transported safely and on time while providing a welcoming and supportive experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

Pick up parents and children and transport them to The Center or designated group locations for scheduled group sessions, meetings, and outings. Ensure all participants arrive at the designated location no later than 6:30pm Transport participants home or to the designated drop-off location no later than 8:30pm Escort participants safely into The Center upon arrival. Maintain a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all participants. Follow CBHC transportation and safety procedures. Report accidents, safety concerns, participant concerns, or other issues to the appropriate CBHC staff member promptly. Complete any required transportation or participation documentation. Maintain confidentiality and respect for the privacy of all participants. Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required Valid driver's license required Current automobile insurance required Good driving record Previous experience transporting children, families, or community members is preferred Must demonstrate reliability, professional, patience, and good communication skills Reports to: Program Manager of Parenting for

Success Education:

High school or equivalent (Required)

Hours:

5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Schedule:

Evening shift Wednesdays and Thursdays Some Saturdays, based on scheduled Parenting for Success activities. Stipend $30.00 per night This is volunteer position that provides $30.00 per day shift or evening stipend for approved services.

Expected hours:

8.0 - 16.0 per week
