KinderCare is seeking dedicated Lead Teachers for our Frankfort KinderCare center to guide preschool children through critical early learning stages. In this role, you will design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. You will create a safe, inclusive classroom, model positive behavior, and build strong partnerships with families. Lead Teachers collaborate closely with colleagues, mentor assistant staff, and uphold all licensing, health, and safety standards while contributing to KinderCare's nurturing, growth-focused culture. Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans. Lead classroom activities that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment. Observe and assess children's progress and document developmental milestones. Communicate regularly with families about child development, behavior, and classroom activities. Ensure compliance with state licensing, health, and safety regulations. Mentor and guide assistant teachers and support staff in the classroom. Collaborate with center leadership on program improvements and family events. Manage classroom routines, transitions, and behavior using positive guidance. Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
