Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and overall child development aligned with early childhood education standards Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management Conduct ongoing assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and child welfare best practices Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's development, milestones, and classroom activities Manage classroom routines effectively, including toddler care, preschool activities, and behavior management strategies Collaborate with colleagues to design lesson plans that incorporate childhood development principles and early intervention techniques Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and incidents Skills Strong knowledge of curriculum development tailored to early childhood education levels Experience working with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers Expertise in special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques Proficiency in classroom management, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or tutoring sessions Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Familiarity with childhood development concepts, standardized testing procedures, and child welfare policies Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety in emergency situations Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners including those requiring additional support or specialized instruction Experience teaching literacy education, math fundamentals, and fostering social-emotional skills in young children Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and inspired to reach their full potential!

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
