Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Childcare Teacher to join our team! In this vital role, you will create a nurturing, engaging environment for young children while supporting their developmental milestones. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social development. Manage classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for toddlers and preschoolers. Use effective behavior management strategies to guide children's social interactions and emotional regulation. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Plan engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and individual child needs. Support children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services by adapting activities accordingly. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and assessments in compliance with mandated reporting laws. Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in classroom settings or childcare environments. Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or early intervention are a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and support staff. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations. Experience teaching physical education or literacy education is advantageous.
