Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned lessons for young children. Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom that supports social, emotional, and academic growth. Observe, assess, and document children's progress to inform instruction. Maintain open, professional communication with families and conduct regular updates on student growth. Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leaders to align curriculum and share best practices. Implement school safety, health, and cleanliness procedures consistently. Participate in professional development and training offered by Chesterbrook Academy. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and styles. Prepare instructional materials and organize learning centers that blend play and structured learning. Support classroom routines, behavior expectations, and positive guidance strategies.
