Duties Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development and learning Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meal times, and nap times to ensure safety and positive behavior Assist with classroom management by maintaining organized learning spaces and encouraging positive interactions among children Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns to foster strong home-school connections Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond promptly to emergencies or injuries Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care as directed by specialists Help maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and behavior for reporting purposes Skills Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Ability to perform first aid and CPR confidently; pediatric first aid certification is preferred Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork with colleagues Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention Compassionate caregiving skills with a focus on nurturing toddlers, infants, and preschoolers Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and professionalism This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about early childhood education who want to grow their skills while making a positive impact on children's lives.
