We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Preschool Lead Teacher to join our early childhood program in a co-teaching classroom environment. This position works alongside another Lead Teacher to design and implement a high-quality preschool program that supports children's social, emotional, and cognitive development while fostering curiosity, creativity, and independence. Position Summary The Preschool Lead Teacher is responsible for partnering with a co-teacher to plan curriculum, guide classroom practices, and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment for preschool-aged children. The ideal candidate values collaboration, strong communication, and shared leadership in the classroom. Essential Responsibilities Collaborate with a co-teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and learning experiences Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom community that supports children's social-emotional growth Observe and document children's learning and development Provide positive behavior guidance and support individual learning needs Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Communicate regularly with families regarding children's development and classroom activities Ensure compliance with all state licensing requirements and program policies Participate in staff meetings, training opportunities, and program initiatives Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred Previous experience as a preschool teacher strongly preferred Ability to work effectively within a collaborative co-teaching model Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Must meet all applicable state licensing requirements for lead teachers Employment Details Full-time position Competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience Supportive team environment with opportunities for professional growth
