Job Description

As an Assistant Director , you'll be a visible part of that experience—building relationships with families, developing teachers, supporting enrollment, and helping maintain a school environment known for consistency, quality, and care. What You'll Bring to the School A leadership presence that is warm, confident, and engaged The ability to build trust with families and create meaningful connections A passion for coaching teachers and helping teams grow Strong organization and follow-through across daily school operations An eye for the details that shape a welcoming, well-run school A commitment to classroom quality, licensing, health, and safety standards The ability to support tours, enrollment, and family retention Confidence stepping into leadership when the Center Director is unavailable What We're Looking For Must be at least 21 years of age High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Early Childhood Education or Child Development background Leadership experience in a licensed early childhood setting preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Experience supporting and developing teachers Someone who is dependable, organized, and comfortable balancing people, families, and operations Illinois Assistant Director Qualification
  • Candidates must meet the applicable Assistant Director education requirements, including: Completion of the required Administration Course; AND An Associate degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education, OR 64 semester hours of college credit, including at least 21 semester hours in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or Early Childhood Special Education Employee Perks
  • Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on position, education, and experience, with bi-weekly & daily pay options.
Pay Range:
$24
