Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and promoting positive behavior among students. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards. Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports children's individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention. Manage classroom behavior effectively while encouraging positive interactions among students. Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development, progress, and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting conducive to learning. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and effective classroom management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience in behavior management strategies and tutoring is highly desirable. Knowledge of Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies is a plus. Ability to create an engaging learning environment that promotes literacy, math skills, and physical activity.
