About us Anderson First United Methodist Church is a professional, rewarding, and human-centric place to work! We care for our staff as individuals and strive to offer a safe, fun work environment. We currently have opportunities to work with preschool, elementary-aged children, and teenagers. The position includes training, lesson plans, and a whole lot of fun. Scheduling can be flexible, with opportunities to work on Sundays from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and Wednesdays from 5:30-8:30 p.m., plus additional opportunities as they arise.

$13 per hour
Purpose:
To provide dependable, safe, secure, and nurturing care to the children while at Anderson First
UMC. QUALIFICATIONS
Experience caring for children; Ability to adapt and interact with various personalities; At least 16 years of age; Satisfactory completion of a background check. Satisfactory completion of CPR training for infants and children. Must adhere to United Methodist Church Child Protection Policy Guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled event; Adhere to check-in/check-out procedures; Maintain a clean and safe learning environment for children; Engage, comfort, and connect with children in your care; Lead or assist age-appropriate group activities provided by the Director of Family Ministries; Clearly communicate availability for scheduling purposes
