The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants aged 6 weeks through 14 months, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves planning and implementing engaging educational activities that promote play, learning and overall child welfare. The Infant Teacher will work closely with parents and caregivers to support each child's growth and learning journey. Responsibilities Develop and implement daily routines that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess children's progress in our communication system through our Brightwheel platform. Provide individualized support for each child. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development, feeding needs and progress. Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience across different age groups. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the daycare setting. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with early childhood education trends. Experience Previous experience working with young children and infants in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred. Knowledge of child welfare practices and early intervention strategies is highly desirable. Familiarity with techniques and methods for all preschool ages is desired. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that supports the diverse needs of all children.
