Job Description
Job Overview Are you passionate about working with children and looking for a place where you can truly make a difference? Our small, family-owned childcare facility is looking for caring and dependable team members to join us! We serve children from infants through 5 years old and are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, fun, and curriculum-focused environment. Responsibilities Create engaging learning experiences, implement curriculum, supervise children, and maintain a safe and nurturing classroom. Lead daily classroom activities that support social-emotional development, behavior management, and childhood welfare. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's development, milestones, and any concerns. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to health and safety standards, including first aid and CPR protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous childcare experience preferred Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA required (either may be earned after employment). Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in early intervention or special education is a plus. Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members. Dependable and responsible, with a warm, patient and nurturing personality. Must enjoy working with children. We aren't a large corporate childcare center. We're a small family-owned facility where our staff and the children we care for are part of our extended family.
