These are full-time career opportunities for dedicated, early childhood professionals. A typical day working with Child Start in an early childhood classroom may involve: Encourage children to try new learning activities. Assess each child's development initially and update assessments throughout the school year. Review the curriculum continually and write weekly lesson plans that incorporate all areas of child development (social/emotional development, physical and cognitive language development).
