Children's Learning Center (CLC) is seeking a qualified, compassionate Lead Infant Teacher to join our team! Position Overview Role:

Lead Infant Teacher (Ages 2 weeks - 12 months)

Location:

Lawrence, KS Status:

Full-Time (35+ hours/week)

Key Responsibilities Nurturing Care & Development:

Provide attentive, gentle, and developmentally appropriate care tailored to infants' individual routines and physical, social-emotional, and cognitive growth.

Classroom Management:

Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and sensory-balanced environment that adheres strictly to state licensing guidelines and center policies.

Family Engagement:

Build strong, trust-based, and collaborative partnerships with parents and guardians through daily updates and open communication.

Observation & Planning:

Observe and record developmental milestones, designing engaging, exploratory learning experiences suitable for infant development.

Positive Guidance:

Utilize positive guidance techniques that build trust and emotional security for infants.

Position Qualifications & Requirements Education:

Minimum Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required. (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred ).

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of professional early childhood/infant teaching experience.

Licensing & Background Check:

Must have completed/passed a fingerprint background check and state-required licensing trainings.
