Do you love the busy, curious, silly, and wonderfully messy early years? We're looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic teacher to join our Christian, play-based childcare family! Our center believes young children learn best through play, exploration, relationships, and hands-on experiences. We also strive to create an environment where children experience God's love through kindness, patience, compassion, and the way we care for one another. We're looking for someone who: 1. Genuinely enjoys working with young children 2. Is patient, nurturing, dependable, and positive 3. Understands that play is an important part of learning 4. Can create fun, developmentally appropriate activities and experiences 5. Is comfortable incorporating simple Christian values, Bible stories, songs, prayer, and kindness into the classroom 6. Communicates well with families and coworkers 7. Can work as part of a supportive teaching team 8. Understands that early ed classrooms involve lots of movement, hugs, diaper changes, messes, laughter, and learning! What you'll do: 1. Build loving, trusting relationships with children 2. Create engaging play-based learning opportunities 3. Support social-emotional, language, physical, and cognitive development 4. Maintain a safe, welcoming, organized classroom 5. Communicate with families about their child's day and development 6. Help children learn important skills such as sharing, independence, problem-solving, and caring for others 7. Most importantly—help make our classroom a place where toddlers feel safe, loved, valued, and excited to learn Experience in childcare is preferred, but we are also willing to consider the right person who has a heart for children and a willingness to learn.
