Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that foster early childhood development across various domains including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Manage classroom activities effectively by maintaining organized routines, promoting positive behavior management strategies, and encouraging active participation. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, address concerns, and foster strong partnerships supporting each child's growth. Apply classroom management techniques to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all children. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention practices to support children with diverse learning needs. Adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records related to child welfare, incident reports, and developmental assessments. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate to monitor progress and inform instruction. Implement lesson planning that integrates childhood development principles with creative activities designed to enhance learning outcomes. Maintain current certifications in first aid and CPR to ensure a safe environment at all times. Experience (Will Train) Prior classroom experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored for early childhood education including literacy education, math instruction, and physical education. Experience working with children who have special needs or require early intervention services is advantageous. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and collaboration with colleagues. Knowledge of childhood development stages, behavior management techniques, and classroom management best practices. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential. Previous experience in teaching physical education or tutoring young learners will be considered a plus.
