Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. Hours needed are from 1-3 in the afternoon until 530/545. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. You will play a vital role in promoting their growth and development through engaging activities and age-appropriate learning experiences.

Duties:

• Provide attentive care and supervision to children in our facility
• Close out classrooms and building at the end of the day.
• Create a positive and inclusive environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore and learn
• Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by following proper health and safety protocols
• Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and promoting healthy eating habits
• Foster positive relationships with children, promoting kindness, respect, and empathy
• Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a cohesive and supportive team environment Experience. Maintaining a clean and presentable work environment:
• Previous experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting is preferred
• Knowledge of preschool curriculum and childhood development principles is beneficial
• Experience working with infants is desirable
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively, promoting positive behavior management techniques
• First aid certification is required
