The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports children's social, emotional, physical, and educational development. This position requires someone who is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys working with young children, and can communicate effectively with both families and coworkers. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities Create a positive, safe, and welcoming classroom environment Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Maintain daily classroom schedules and routines Supervise children at all times to ensure safety and well-being Encourage positive behavior and classroom management skills Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom Complete daily reports and required documentation through Brightwheel Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members Follow all licensing regulations and center policies Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Pre-K or licensed childcare setting Strong knowledge of early childhood development Ability to manage a classroom in a positive and professional manner Excellent communication and teamwork skills Dependable, patient, and organized Must be able to pass all required background checks CPR and First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) High school diploma or equivalent required CDA, associate degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping children learn and grow in a supportive and loving environment.
