Duties Assist in supervising children during play, learning activities, meals, and nap times to ensure safety and well-being Support classroom management by implementing age-appropriate curriculum plans focused on childhood development and early education principles Deliver engaging activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behaviors, and daily experiences to foster strong relationships Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any concerns related to child safety or well-being Participate in ongoing training on topics such as first aid, pediatric CPR, special education needs, behavior management, and inclusive caregiving practices Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar caregiving roles is highly preferred but not required Knowledge of child development instruction and classroom management techniques for infants through preschool-aged children is preferred but not required Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required or obtainable upon hire Demonstrated ability to supervise children safely while encouraging positive behavior and social interaction This role is perfect for energetic individuals eager to make a difference in young lives while expanding their skills across various classroom settings.
