In this role, you will provide compassionate supervision, support early childhood development, and foster a safe, engaging environment for children of various ages. Your energetic approach will help create a positive atmosphere that encourages learning, growth, and joyful exploration. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the well-being and development of children while working within a collaborative and supportive setting. The hours for this role are Monday-Friday, from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. Responsibilities Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with implementing age-appropriate educational activities focused on childhood development and early learning goals Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and engagement Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly Support classroom management strategies to foster positive behavior and social skills among children Administer basic first aid or pediatric first aid when necessary, ensuring immediate response to minor injuries or health issues Collaborate with team members to plan and execute developmental activities tailored for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or children with special needs Adhere to all health and safety protocols related to childcare and daycare operations Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar early childhood education settings is highly preferred, but we will train the right individual! Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision techniques Classroom management skills gained through teaching or caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting are valuable Familiarity with early childhood education practices, including toddler care and infant care Knowledge of mandated reporting laws and child safety regulations is essential Previous experience in daycare center environments or preschool settings enhances your ability to succeed in this role Join us if you're passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a safe, enriching environment where children can thrive! Pay:
