We are seeking a Lead Infant Teacher. The position is full-time. Candidate must be 18 years old, a high school graduate and be able to pass a background check. Prior teaching experience is required. CDA or degree preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in a childcare setting utilizing Creative Curriculum.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress, including parent teacher conferences.
  • Gather observations on children's development, assess milestones, and provide individualized support and guidance as needed
  • Incorporate educational games, activities, and materials to promote learning in various learning domains
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Experience:
  • Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting required.
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children
Education:
  • CDA or Degree in Education desired or willing to obtain.
