Skills Extensive experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings with strong classroom management skills. Knowledge of curriculum development techniques for early childhood education including Montessori methods or other educational philosophies. Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention strategies to support diverse learners. Ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Strong understanding of child development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom safety protocols. Experience with literacy education, standardized testing for early learners, and teaching physical education activities. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential.
